SUMMARY
The project technician has the mandate to assemble, test and dismantle the systems produced by Optel. In addition, he must perform the installation of systems and provide project support in terms of quality control.
RESPONSABILITIES
- Assembles systems on test benches;
- Executes test plans;
- Reviews documentation related to the system;
- Performs factory acceptance tests with the customer;
- Solves problems;
- Documents the results of inspections and tests;
- Ensures that systems meet quality standards;
- Configure customer systems (conveyors, encoders, etc.);
- Performs the mechanical and electrical installation according to established standards;
- Performs start-up and ensures the proper functioning of the system;
- Provide training to users;
- Performs installation preparation and return;
- Assists the client during the qualification of the systems;
- Participate in the definition of the solution;
- Participate in various meetings throughout the project;
- Provides customer support after installation;
- Performs configuration of client systems;
- Participate in the review of work instructions and protocols related to product testing;
- Participate in the continuous improvement of the Quebec department.
- All other related tasks.
REQUIREMENTS
- Diploma in a technical field;
- Autonomy, resourcefulness;
- Manual skills;
- Thoroughness;
- Good sense of observation;
- Advanced English.
