Register Early Childhood Toddler Educator Job at Deep River Nursery School
Deep River Nursery School and Child Care Centre is a licensed child care center which provides quality care to families in the Deep River and surrounding areas.
This is a permanent position.
The ideal candidate will possess a genuine passion for teaching young children, and dedication to helping develop and support their educational growth while encouraging social interactions.
Responsibilities and Duties:
· Excellent written and oral communication.
· Creative, hard working team player, energetic, flexible, reliable, punctual.
· Develop and Implement daily activities for children.
· Provide opportunities for active play (i.e. outdoor play).
· Demonstrated ability to work effectively and actively participate in a cohesive team setting; flexible, reliable, punctual.
· Knowledge of the CCEYA and of "How Does Learning Happen?".
· Physically able to perform repetitive tasks; sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, kneeling, lifting; bathroom/diapering routine; room set up/take down.
· Maintain and clean daycare equipment.
Qualification:
· 1 year of experience working in child care settings.
· A diploma or degree in Early Childhood Education is a must.
-Must have membership in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators
· Criminal Reference Check with Vulnerable Sector Screen no more than 6 months old
· Valid Standard First Aid/CPR Level C
· Up-to-date immunization
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $22.00-$24.00 per hour
