Registered Nurse Job at Alexander Health Services
Alexander First Nation Health Services, a Cree First Nation community, is currently recruiting for a Registered Nurse to join our Primary Health Care team in the delivery of nursing services.
Alexander is located 10 km west of Morinville Alberta, north of St. Albert, and equal distance from Stony Plain and/or Spruce Grove Alberta.
Qualifications and requirements: must a graduate from an accredited nursing program with a BScN or BN degree. Must hold a current and valid RN licence from CRNA, must have a current CPR certificate, WHMIS and TDG, Inoculist certificate must be current, and must have a valid driver's licence. All candidates will be required to submit a Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector check. Must have a minimum of 1-2 years experience in Community Health and Home Care nursing. Experience in Continuing Care an asset.
Responsibilities includes coverage for the Community Health nursing, Home Care Nursing and Covid/IPC nursing as well will be able to assist and provide coverage for Resident Care Supervisor in Continuing Care.
Primary Care clients requiring: admissions, discharges, assessments, care planning, and client case management
The RN must be able to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team; have good communication and computer skills. Valuable assets include, knowledge of the Cree language and culture.
Job Types: Full-time, Casual
Salary: $74,958.00-$98,377.50 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
