Research and Development Manager

Full Time Salaried Position

Starting wage dependent on qualifications

This position will work with and lead the R&D team through building and designing tooling, fixtures, and new products.

All necessary training will be provided.

• Duties include but are not limited to:
• Lead the team through key projects to support business goals
• Researching, specifying, ordering, implementing, performance testing, and training for new products, tooling, and equipment.
• Research, design and evaluate materials, assemblies, processes, and equipment
• Document all phases of research and development
• Asses the scope of research projects and ensure they are on time and within budget
• Staying on top of new technology, manufacturing practices, processes, and equipment

Employment requirements:

• Minimum educational requirement: Engineering Degree Preferred
• Proficiency in 2D/3D CAD, MS Word, Excel, and Project
• Analytical thinker capable of “thinking outside the box”
• Metal Manufacturing experience
• Strong focus on quality
• Strong work ethic
• Willingness to learn
• Demonstrates a positive attitude
• Team player
