Job Description – Full Time Roof Repair Crew Foreman - Wet and dry weather work included!

Zone: Must live between Duncan and Victoria, BC to provide South Vancouver Island roof service.

Continental Roofing’s Vancouver Island Service Division requires a motivated roofing candidate with good problem solving and roofing skills, an attention to detail and a passion to do a good job. We have a busy year ahead and are looking for team members to help us with emergency roof leaks, repairs, preventative roof maintenance and roof equipment installations on low slope roofs on commercial, industrial and residential buildings. Year round, wet and dry weather work is available.

We are currently seeking a roof repair crew foreman to work with and help develop an apprentice for a full-time, year round position.

Responsibilities:

• Investigate and resolve roof leaks
• Assess and maintain roofs
• Rooftop equipment installations / Tenant improvement work
• Semi annual roof maintenance experience in installing and repairing most conventional flat roof systems and have working knowledge of sloped roofs
• Detailed reporting on our custom roofing app.
• Work to Worksafe BC COR safety requirements.

Requirements:

• Valid Class 5 drivers license. Operate a decaled company work van
• Experience with roof repair and maintenance recommended
• Experience on production roofing an asset
• Knowledge of and willingness to comply with industry WorkSafe BC requirements
• Be physically fit
• Good customer service skills and presentation
• Good organizational and communication skills

Start Date: ASAP
