In this role, some of what you will be doing is to:

  • Complete the annual sales budget and retail team staffing budget in cooperation with the Store Manager
  • Follow and complete all Legend Store Sales Manager Checklists and maintain a professional, clean and organized retail display both indoors and outside
  • Lead your team on all rhythm of meetings including daily huddles and weekly team meetings
  • Manage and coach the sales team to achieve sales targets, maximize gross margin and minimize sales related expenses
  • Ensure the customer experience is Legendary and that the WOW factor is ever present
  • Track and monitor each member of the sales team results and celebrate sales plateaus
  • Be present at all company off-site boat shows and events
  • Ensure all new and used inventory lists are up to date and available to all sales staff and listed online on all available platforms
  • Work with the Service Manager and Business Office Manager to ensure all stages of the customer experience are aligned and offer the highest level of customer satisfaction
  • Work with the Marketing Department to ensure all marketing functions including advertising, social media and digital marketing functions are completed at the store level
  • Ensure proper serialized inventory forecasting and management
  • Maintain a professional, clean, organized retail environment both inside and outside
  • Prepare and assist with planning and implementing a local marketing plan and budget
  • Develop an annual profitable budget for the department that is aligned with the company plan and direction
  • Determine Departmental needs in regards to staffing and scheduling
  • Monitor the key vital signs of the business and adjust as needed to achieve the full year plan and budget (profitability, expenses, inventory levels, seasonal trends, staffing needs, pipeline of business, marketing needs, NPS, etc.)
  • Perform regularly scheduled employee assessments with all team members
  • Analyze Key Performance Indicators to identify areas of opportunity within the department

Compensation: $70,000 - $90,000 base Salary, PLUS profit share, PLUS commissions, nps bonus, enps bonus, cell phone reimbursement and pension plan.
