DMC Recruitment Group is working exclusively with a buildings materials supplier to hire a Sales Representative for the Greater Toronto Area. This is a well established company that is looking to grow its territory.
Our client:
Our client is an established supplier to the construction and renovation industries across Ontario and Quebec. They have well developed clients and strong relationships with those clients. They have strong leadership and are a well established business who are looking to grow.
The role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining current clients, however, the main responsibility will be to build up new business in the GTA and then maintain those relationships. This is a channel sales role and a hunter personality with an entrepreneurial mind is needed. The candidate will be responsible for pulling demand through their regional distributors. They will work directly with architects, designers and contractors to drive sales for the distribution partner. This role will also be accountable for educating and training distribution sales representatives on the products to help drive sales in the region. You will also be responsible for some project management and dealing with the manufacturer.
The candidate:
The successful candidate must have experience in HVAC systems, specifically ventilation. They must also be a hunter, with a current book of clients already. The candidate must be able to work independently knowing there is a successful business they are supported by. The candidate must be very well organized and be able to build and maintain strong relationships with their clients.
