What does a Security Guard in Ottawa do?
- Greet, inform, direct and escort various users and employees
- Patrols (interior and exterior)
- Provide assistance and evacuate the building(s) in case of emergency
- Apprehend offenders and turn them over to the appropriate authorities
- Detect, question and remove undesirable persons
- Control access and exit of equipment
- Participate in the transport or escort of valuables
Qualifications to become a Security Guard in Ottawa
- Possession of a valid ON security license and first aid card
- Available to work during the night shift
- Double vaccinated against the COVID 19
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Fine tuned customer service skills
- Have a clear criminal background
- Be eligible to work in Canada
