Requirements:

  • Recently designated CPA or working towards designation
  • 2+ years of experience working with private, owner-managed clients in a public accounting firm
  • Canadian tax experience, including; preparation of personal and corporate tax returns and various other required filings
  • Experience with Sage 50, Quickbooks, CaseWare, and Taxprep
  • Strong technical knowledge, specifically ASPE
  • Excellent interpersonal & communication skills
  • Strong ability to manage time and adhere to strict deadlines
  • Detail-oriented individual with superior organizational and analytical skills
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office with the ability to grasp new technological tools

Example Responsibilities:

  • Plan & execute compilation and review engagements, including preparation of financial statements in accordance with ASPE
  • Preparation and completion of corporate, personal, trust, and other income tax filings
  • Provide exceptional service to our clients, including managing the information flow
