About the Position:
The Customer Insights discipline powers data-informed decision-making across our business. As part of a new team, you will have the opportunity to build the future and steer direction across multi-faceted areas of our business. We believe that by understanding customer behaviors more intimately, we can drive towards furthering long-term loyalty with both our existing and new clients.
As part of the Customer Insights Team, you will be working closely with our Marketing department with close partnerships with our Analytics team. You will identify and execute on analytics opportunities to support the optimization of customer journeys to drive toward specific behaviors and outcomes. This role emphasizes using quantitative analysis – behavioral clustering, segment identification and optimization, foundational reporting and dashboards. Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deploy audiences to support in-store, e-mail, loyalty, and performance marketing efforts leveraging a variety of traits such as: frequency, transaction, demographic, brand affinity, etc
  • Conceptualize and develop new audience journeys with ownership of trait development with future audience enhancements and enrichment
  • Become the SME on our consumer, communicate findings and insights to technical and non-technical audiences to build consensus and drive towards tangible results
  • Build and maintain lasting dashboards to facilitate access to data and insights as the one source of truth on the customer, ensuring accuracy amongst universal reporting
  • Support technical implementation of new technology investments - participate in QA and UAT calls
Required Qualifications
  • 2-4 Years of experience in a similar role, preferably within a retail environment (Outstanding candidates with less experience may be considered for Analyst Role)
  • A university degree with a technical discipline (Statistics, CS, Business, or related disciplines) or a comparable combination of education, certification, and experience
  • Can-do attitude, ability to prioritize and work within tight deadlines and competing priorities
  • Solid knowledge with SQL and Tableau, exposure to R, Python will be a plus
  • Experience working with a CDP, ESP a strong asset
