POSITION SUMMARY

We are looking for a passionate embedded firmware developer who aspires to develop technologies for Environmental Solutions that advance innovations in the water treatment process. As a member of the Research and Development Embedded Team, you will work collaboratively with experienced developers focused on embedded platforms.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Knowledge and Skills

• Extensive working experience with embedded firmware using C/C++, with a clear understanding of how to interface with real-world hardware to the level of registers and bits.
• Understand how to properly apply embedded RTOS principles for efficiency, performance, and predictability.
• Possess intermediate-level knowledge of microelectronic circuits and components, as well as their respective schematics and datasheets.
• Proficient in using diagnostic equipment to measure and understand the behavior of code performance and the electronics interfaced with microcontrollers.
• Development of modular and testable software components at the highest and lowest levels.

Preferred Knowledge and Skills

• Operated within an Agile process, particularly Scrum.
• Experience with a variety of microcontrollers and tools, preferably NXP (Freescale).
• Experience with Python, Microsoft C#.
• Familiar with industrial fieldbuses such as Modbus, EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, CAN bus, etc.
• Knowledge of software quality assurance tools.
