YOUR ROLE: Full Stack Application Developer

RESPONSIBILITIES:

As a Full Stack Application Developer, you will play a vital role in software development lifecycle and contribute your strong development skills and deep knowledge of cloud-native best practices in implementing modern web applications with adaptive/responsive front-end UI using react.js and containerized node.js microservices hosted on Kubernetes platform. The role includes designing and developing large enterprise scale web applications, leading development POD with setting a higher precedence with your proven track record of delivering high quality and secured web applications hosted on public cloud platforms (i.e. Azure, AWS or GCP).

You will lead by examples and contribute to implementation of the application lifecycle — requirements, architecture design, developments and build, integration and release configuration, system testing, production operations, application optimization, and best practices adoption. Throughout these interactions, you will build strong relationships with your clients and build state-of-the-art cloud-native solution, in partnership with your colleagues.

You will collaborate with clients’ stakeholders, solution architects, business architects and UI/UX designers to understand the functional requirements, operational objectives, and purpose of the future system integration to create a high refined quality backlog, estimate and plan the work with high level of confidence. You will work with your development team to create the application architecture, industry standard patterns, define workflows, data flows and egress/ingress integration architecture to deliver the target solution.

WHO WE´RE LOOKING FOR?

YOUR EXPERIENCE: Basic Qualifications

• 4+ years designing, developing, and architecting cloud-native applications

• 4+ years prototyping, gathering requirements, troubleshooting, diagnosing, or supporting software development as part of a team

• 3+ years demonstrating experience managing a team of developers and deliveries to clients

• 3+ years working with Java, C#, or NodeJS webservices, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, TypeScript

• 3+ years working with NodeJS and API platform (preferably Express)

• 3+ years of relevant experience with API concepts and technologies: e.g., REST, JSON, Swagger, SOAP/XML

• 2+ years working with building Single Page applications using ReactJS (Preferably Enterprise scale development)

• Must be eligible for Federal Reliability Clearance

• English is required for this position as this role will regularly interact with stakeholders across Canada, US and other countries across our Global footprint where English is the common language. Due to the significant high volume of interactions with these English-speaking stakeholders, which is inherent to this position, it is not possible to reorganize the company's activities to avoid this requirement.

• Strong communication and organizational skills with an ability to thrive in a fast-paced production deadline-driven environment both internal and client facing
• Bachelor’s degree (Master’s a plus) in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• Working knowledge of asynchronous & messaging integration patterns, Event Based Architecture, Microservices
• Experience using Agile methodologies for developing applications
• Experience in creating project estimates, defining scope requirements, and structuring projects
• Ability to solve complex development problems and produce the highest quality code while striving to push the technical boundaries of online applications
• Ability to work quickly while maintaining strong attention to detail and accuracy while adhering to W3C and accessibility guidelines
• You’re excited by the prospect of learning new technologies as needed
• Familiar with application security AuthN, AuthZ, SSO, OAuth, JWT
• Familiar with Cloud PaaS and SaaS services
• Familiar with SQL and Data Modelling experience would be an asset
• Cloud certifications with any major cloud provider: Google, AWS, or AZURE for Cloud Platform
