RESTAURANT MANAGER
JOB DESCRIPTION:
An experienced manager to manage an ice cream shop in a shopping centre in Metro-Vancouver area.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Delegate tasks to provide courteous customer service, the highest quality food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and comfortable dining environment.
- Administer and lead inventory counts, assess, and fill purchase orders.
- Use shop walkthrough and make sure our checklists are updated.
- Adhere to and enforce all standard operating procedures in compliance with the brand policy, health and food handling safety regulations.
- Ensure recipes are followed properly to ensure a consistent product.
- Conduct interviews and hire qualified staff members.
- Assists with new staff training and coaching as needed.
- Conduct performance evaluations of staff.
- Ensure the proper image is being maintained by all team members with respect to grooming and uniform standards.
- Make suggestions for improvements in overall operations with an emphasis on increasing customer satisfaction, revenues as well as reducing costs.
- Work closely with the marketing team to propose, implement and assess success of promotions and specials.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
- 3 years experience in food and beverage
- 1 year experience as supervisor or manager
