Responsibilities include:

• Providing comprehensive assessment in a community setting using formal and informal assessment tools
• Creating a treatment plan with SMART goals that reflect the client’s communication profile and areas of difficulty
• Providing client and family-centered intervention
• Solid knowledge of evidence-based practices and commitment to professional development
• Engaging in caregiver training and education, and providing home practice materials

Requirements:

• Must have Master’s Degree of Speech-Language Pathology
• Must be registered and in good standing with CASLPO
• Have professional liability insurance
• Have access to a vehicle and a valid driver’s license
• At least one year of pediatric work experience is an asset
