Position and Responsibilities
Be an integral member of Cameco’s exploration team, striving to bring the multiple benefits of nuclear energy to the world, by finding the next generation of uranium deposits. Help us discover tomorrow’s energy today.
Working with various geophysical and GIS software packages, you will assist the team with the collection, processing, interpretation, and integration of geophysical data. In the field you will assist with geotechnical logging and collecting geophysical data. You will also assist with a variety of special projects and other day-to-day activities.
The successful candidate will work a term of approximately four months (May to August). This is a majority office-based role with potential for remote field work based at one of Cameco’s exploration camps.
Education and Qualifications
You should be entering your third or fourth year as a university student in geophysics, geology, or a related science. You must possess a valid Class 5 driver’s license, as the operation of company vehicles may be required on occasion.
Interviews will take place in February/March 2023. Students will be notified if they are selected for an interview.
