BIL SECURITY is recruiting licensed Mobile Security Officers/Tactical Mobile Security Officers to work in Winnipeg MB and its surrounding areas. Must have a driver's license with a clean driver's abstract.

Your responsibilities will vary depending on the site posted and may include but are not limited to Alarm Response, responding to confirmed incidents from our Live Video Monitoring Centre, Access Control, General Mobile Patrols, report taking and writing (must be able to use Computer Aid Dispatch Software)

BIL provides paid training for the position.

Tactical Mobile Officer Job Duties:

• Patrolling in a variety of settings
• Performing lockups and unlocks
• Enforcing property rules, city by-laws, and other applicable laws
• Deterring crime and responding to incidents on various properties
• Responding to various types of emergencies including alarms response and confirmed incidents from our Live Video Monitoring Centre
• Completion of Incident Reports
• Perform daily pre-trip inspections on patrol vehicle
• Maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and employees
• Ability to escort trespassers away from client premises and detain suspects for Police.
• Defuse potentially volatile situations and intervene when necessary
• Respond to emergencies and incidents within designated areas promptly and according to policy
• Report emergencies to law enforcement as needed
• Provide customer service to clients, and patrons

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Casual
Part-time hours: 0-40 per week

Salary: $15.00-$18.00 per hour
