About the Role

· Embrace and support BME Mining Canada’s visions and values

· Proficiency in blast monitoring techniques

· Support customers’ needs, input on blast designs if required and provide operations technical assistance with drill and blast techniques

· Internal and External training on Electronic Initiation Control Equipment

· Must be able to build and maintain good internal and external customer relationships

· Must be willing to perform any physical work in the field related to the usage of the monitoring and loading equipment

· Ability to follow through on projects in a safe and timely manner

· Assist in product trialing, Electronic Initiation, Bulk Loading

· Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with all levels of management

Requirements:

· Bachelor's Degree in related field

· 2+ year’s experience as a mining engineer, mining sales, or related underground experience, including experience with the technical, business, and operations aspects of the mining or explosive industry

· Underground Hard Rock Common Core considered an asset

· Previous underground experience preferred

· Strong safety background

· Strong people management and relationship building background

· Ability to travel to remote customer sites as needed

· Ability to work as part of a team as well as the drive to excel as an individual

· Bilingualism considered an asset

· Previous experience in Production Loading or Open Pit blasting
