About us
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented technician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in and/or willingness to quickly learn hands-on bookkeeping using modern technology. The candidate will also, as directed, assist in the compilation of financial statements, and personal and corporate tax compliance and planning. This is an entry-level position and is meant for someone who would like the opportunity to receive exposure to a variety of interesting client-service work in a positive and supportive environment, with future opportunities to focus in an area of expertise if desired. Our firm is built around a 5C model - competency, creativity, collaboration, communication, and care.
Role Responsibilities
Assist with completion of full cycle bookkeeping, compilation, and tax engagements.
Prepare and maintain government remittances and filings as directed.
Work collaboratively with client engagement team and clients to deliver high quality, timely, client service.
Skills and experience
Entry-level to intermediate level position (1-3 years’ of experience in similar role).
Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
Familiarity with some or all the following software considered an asset: Xero, QBO, Dext, Wagepoint, ADP, Caseware, TaxCycle.
Salary commensurate with experience.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $40,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
