Territory Manager - Southeastern NB Job at Trouw Nutrition
The Territory Manager is an individual contributor reporting to the Sales Manager in an OpCo. You take care of the commercial activities in an OpCo for direct customers in order to reach the commercial objectives. The Territory Manager and the Technical Sales Advisor work in a ‘tandem approach’ to reach the highest Sales possible, whereby you are the commercial expert, opening doors and closing deals. Basic technical knowledge is required, but you will work in collaboration with the Technical Sales Advisor in (highly) complex and technical sales processes.
A DAY IN THE LIFE…
As a member of a dynamic team, you will oversee the continued development of the dairy business for the Moncton region by actively promoting, marketing and executing feed strategies. Surrounded and supported by the team, you will work directly with producers to meet their on-farm goals.
- Promote the use of Trouw Nutrition products and technologies to increase our market share and feed volume
- Become involved in the territory and network within the industry
- Handle customer inquiries promptly, completely and accurately. Assist customers on-farm to measure results and benchmark performances
- Provide support for Retail Sales within the region; Analyze sales performances and strategic plans to achieve targets
- Communicate with Feed Mill staff regarding feed delivery and quality
PREFERRED HIRING CRITERIA:
- Post-secondary degree in Agriculture, Agronomy or Agro-Economics
- Enjoy working in team environment and have a strong passion for the dairy industry
- Computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Enjoy working with producers to help meet their on-farm goals
- English is mandatory and being fluent in French would be an asset
