Ultra Sound Technician Job Description

Primary Responsibilities:

• Follows careful instructions from our Professional Medical Team
• Conducting Cycle Monitoring by taking measurements of endometrium and follicles.
• Educates the patient before and during diagnostic procedures so as the patient
• Monitors patient safety through all diagnostic procedures
• Work collaboratively the Professional Medical Team during IUI procedures and Embryo Transfers
• Responsible for the cleaning and maintenance of all Ultra Sound equipment
• Manages the Diagnostic Image Database

• Must be patient centric, detail oriented and willing to work as an engaged member of not only the Diagnostic Image Team but the overall Clinic Team
• Compassionate
• Gentle bedside manner
• Confidence to work in a fast-paced patient centric environment
• Must being able to follow processes
• Must be able to follow protocols
• Must be accountable and self motivated

Job Requirements:

• Completion of formal sonography training in a recognised school or equal experience
• Must have ARDMS/ CARDUP
• Experience in pelvic and obstetric sonography
• Must have completed CPR training
• Excellent Verbal and Written Communication
• PACS experience an asset
• Having IPS an asset
