As the Night Shift Welding Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing our night shift operations.

Work Schedule:

Monday - Thursday - 4:00 PM - 2:30 AM (4-10 hour shifts)

Responsibilities of the Job:

Including, but not limited to the following:

• Oversee and coach all night shift employees
• Weld parts following instructions as detailed in blueprints
• Relay daily/weekly/monthly objectives to employees
• Check production output according to specifications
• Provide daily updates related to performance and progress to Plant Manager and HR as required
• Identify issues in efficiency and suggest improvements
• Assist with and ensure new employees receive adequate and proper training
• Enforce safety guidelines and company standards
• other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Welding experience is a must. The successful candidate will bring many years of hands-on experience working as a welder; who is familiar with the different welding techniques. They will also possess the ability to set up and trouble shoot different welding machines.
• Previous experience working as a supervisor in a manufacturing environment or within a similar role is required
• Experience in using various types of manufacturing machinery and tools
• Experience using computers (MS Outlook, WO systems, etc)
• Strong organizational and leadership skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
• Critical thinker and problem solver
• Reliable and trustworthy
• Ability to multi-task
• Ability to work in fast pace environments while maintaining a calm demeanor
• Ability to lift up to 45 lbs
• Steel toed shoes are mandatory for the shop floor
• Ability and willingness to work overtime if required
