Ritchie Bros. is growing our Financial Operations Team in Burnaby, BC, and we have an immediate need to hire Accounting Specialists.

To begin, we typically hire people on contract, and once a full-time opening arises, we convert to Permanent. We have a 95% conversion ratio for our contract employees to full-time permanent.

General responsibilities will include but not limited to:

• Reviewing and processing invoices and purchase orders.

• Reviewing contractual agreements.

• Entering recoverable expenses.

• Running lien searches.

• Following up and obtaining clarification on discrepancies in approvals and amounts.

• Issuing and applying payments.

• Performing reconciliations.

• Assisting site in collection efforts.

As an Financial Operations Accounting Specialist in our Customer Financial Operations Team, you will support the following teams:

• Lien Search

• Lien Review

• Disbursements/Settlements

• Accounts Receivable

• Accounts Payable

• Collections
