Mission Hill Dental is searching for an outgoing, energetic, and committed dental assistant to join our team. We need a patient and detail-oriented individual who will be responsible for providing an excellent patient experience, performing administrative duties and assisting the dentist during treatments. The ideal candidate must have great customer service skills and a desire to work in a fast-paced team environment, as well as strong communication skills. This is a permanent, full-time position with 5 days per week, two evenings until 6pm, and no weekends. This is a great opportunity to join a fun, supportive, and lively work environment. Salary: $28.00 - $36.00 (Wage negotiable based on experience)
Additional pay: Overtime, Bonus
Certificates:
- Dental Assistant (required)
- Hygiene and Orthodontic Module (preferred)
- CPR training (required)
Responsibilities:
- Mix materials and assist dentist chairside.
- Take x-rays, prophylaxis, etc.
- Clean and sterilize instruments and equipment.
- Document necessary information into patients' files.
- Perform administrative duties.
- Communicate with patients to explain procedures, treatment plan, etc.
