Inspiration Learning Center has an English teacher opening who wants to work part-time in a rewarding teaching environment. Candidates must possess a strong passion for seeing students succeed and be comfortable teaching students ranging from Grade 1 to Grade 12.

Job Summary

• Teach international and Local students English in person, including speaking, listening, reading, and writing.
• Textbook and teaching support are provided.
• Small class size, usually 2 – 4 students or 1-1 private class.
• Students may have just a little English knowledge in fundamental class.
• Students ages from 6 to 18 but might be younger or older.
• 30 minutes, 1 hour or 90 minutes, or 2 hours per class.
• Can teach from home, clean, tidy, and quiet room background required.
• Flexible schedule, usually lessons will be set up in the early morning and/or evening due to time zone differences.
• Must be familiar with Ontario Elementary and high school G9-12 curriculum

A great candidate for this position will possess the following:

• A bachelor's degree with a major in English or Education related.
• ESL teacher qualification TEFL / TESOL / CELTA certificate preferred.
• Ontario certified teacher preferred.
• Ontario Public school and Private school teachers are preferred.
• Two years or more of teaching experience is preferred.
• Lively, vibrant, and engaging teaching styles are preferred.

Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 2-50 per week

Salary: $18.00-$22.00 per hour

• Aurora, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
