Job Requirements:

  • Grade 12 graduation or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience providing administrative and financial support.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience interpreting and applying policies and procedures relating to contract and budget administration.

Preference may be given to applicants with:

  • Experience in office practices including accounts payable, fiscal management, personnel, and payroll administration.
  • Experience in organizing aspects of training delivery, programs or events coordination.
  • Experience with government accounting systems and financial and administrative policies and procedures.

About this Position:
An eligibility list may be established to fill future temporary and permanent vacancies.
Remote work is allowed. This position can work up to full time from their home in British Columbia as per the Telework Agreement. The locations listed above are to assist applicants in searching for this opportunity and are not a complete list of all locations.

This position coordinates the financial and administrative processes for the recruitment and training program. The position reports directly to the Inspector and assists employees at all levels to access training and development opportunities, database management and provides administrative and financial support to provincial recruitment and training programs. This includes assisting new recruits with salary and travel status, living allowances, differential pay rates etc.
