Position Overview:
As a Customer Service Representative for the Wirtanen Division of Finning Canada, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service to our valued customers. You will utilize your technical expertise to provide solutions to the customer needs by utilizing our temporary power equipment, electrical contractor tooling, and Instrumentation services. This role will provide rental, sales, and service solutions to both internal and external customers.
We are looking for people who are passionate about providing exceptional customer service, building relationships and have a keen interest and aptitude for electrical applications, equipment repair and maintenance.

Job Description:
- Provide efficient and effective customer service at the rental counter ensuring company standards are met
- Interface with the customers by telephone or in person in a prompt, courteous, business-like manner
- Perform inside sales of all products and services, including rentals that the company offers
- Draw up rental and sales contracts
- Provide technical support related the selection of our rental equipment to support our customer
- Scheduled on call rotation required for customer support
- Read and Input Customer drawings and requirement
- Process equipment returns and closes rental contracts
- Perform other equipment inquiries through the company’s computerized programming
- Use and maintain knowledge of the purchase order system
- Assist in technical support to staff servicing equipment as required
- Ability to learn the application of the rental fleet to service our customers, to increase customer awareness of product offerings and product applications
- Keep paperwork current to insure prompt action on all transactions
Qualifications:
- Red Seal Electrician Ticket preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and work under tight timelines, deadlines, and repetitive tasks while keeping safety top priority
- 3+ years rental counter experience preferred
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Understand construction phases, job situations, and project conditions for timing of approaching customer and rental products application suggestions
- Ability to learn the application of the rental fleet to service our customers
- Ability to deliver technical information to customer in a non-technical manner.
- Must be able to work shift type hours
