Role: Director of Operations

Responsibilities:
- Lead operations to improve efficiency and profitability, while having a significant impact on recruiting, talent development and staff coaching
- Ensure that company objectives are met, implementing customer excellence plans, heading up performance targets and improving staff performance
- Offers the business strategic and tactical leadership to succeed in meeting corporate goals, using experience to improve quality and overall productivity
- Develop annual business plans and identify key activities and priorities, implementing business strategy and solutions in line with corporate objectives
- Cohesively operates with inventory leaders to ensure region inventory needs and targets are achieved
- Accountability for setting and monitoring operational budgets
- Offers the management and strategy to ensure business continuity and recovery plans are reached
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred
- 7+ years of operational leadership experience in distribution centers
- 3+ years of project and program management experience in the development of various organizations
- LEAN yellow belt certification
- Ability to implement a LEAN mindset in a distribution/warehouse environment
- Strategic thinking skills and ability to work with senior management and regional teams
- Ability to identify external resources, develop and manage relationships with vendors and other external and internal service providers
- Excellent interpersonal skills and strong communication skills
- Strong decision-making, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of data analysis, performance and operational metric
- Ability to travel
