Weaver Group Limited is currently seeking for long-term projects within Northern Alberta: Experienced Pipeline Labourers (Shop, Facility & Field)

General Requirements:

• Preference given to individuals with pipeline construction experience
• Knowledgeable of OHS protocols and compliance within the industry
• Proficient in basic English language, reading and writing skills
• Capable of taking direction and working independently
• Must be able to work cohesively as part of a diverse team
• Able to assess, identify and minimize safety risks and hazards
• Able to competently operate a variety of hand, power tools and equipment
• Experience operating side and center-mounter picker trucks, fork-lifts, side-booms and skid-steers preferred
• Knowledgeable of the usage and operation of H2S gas monitors
• Capable of performing physically demanding work at heights or on elevated surfaces
• Willing to work outdoors for extended periods of time in all climates
• Available to work shifts and extended hours when necessary

Qualifications:

• Must be legally entitled to work in Canada

• Current Pipeline Construction Safety Training (PCST)

• Current Common Safety Orientation (CSO)

• Current Standard First Aid with Level C CPR and BC jurisdiction

• Current H2S (Energy Safety Canada or Work Safe BC issued)

• Current Ground Disturbance

• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License is required (must be able to get to work as shop is located 15 minutes outside of Grande Prairie and is not accessible by public transit)

LOA available to those who qualify.

Wage dependent upon experience, certification and qualifications.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $22.00-$35.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 12 hour shift
• Day shift

Supplemental pay types:

• Overtime pay
