Novo Peak Health has been an innovative and progressive force in the Eldercare industry for over 20 years; providing physiotherapy, occupational therapy, and assistive devices program services (ADP) to long-term care and retirement homes, and community-based locations across Ontario. We have a strong, clinician led management team with industry-related experience available to support the onsite team.
Novo Peak Health is currently looking for a Part-time Exercise Instructor to instruct group exercise classes in Aurora, ON.
This position requires travel between 4 locations in Aurora, Newmarket, and Mt. Albert, ON.
Schedule: 17 hours/week
Monday: Location 4 – 11:15am-12:00pm & then Location 1 – 2:00pm-3:00pm
Tuesday: Location 1 – 9:00am-10:00am, Location 2 – 10:30am-11:30am
Wednesday: Location 2 – 9:45am-10:30am & Location 3 – 1:00pm-3:00pm
Thursday: Location 1 – 9:00am-10:00am, Location 2 – 10:15am-11:00am, Location 4 – 11:15am-12:00pm
Friday: Location 4 – 9:00am-12:00pm & Location 3 – 1:00pm-3:00pm
Key Qualifications:
- Diploma in Physiotherapist Assistant program, Fitness and Health Promotion, Kinesiology or relevant health/fitness related discipline
- Previous experience working with seniors or leading group classes is an asset
- Must be fluent in English and have great oral and motivational skills
- Must be punctual and be able to work independently
- Current Vulnerable Sector Screen (this can be done upon offer)
- 2 Step TB Test (this can be done upon offer)
- Fully vaccinated against Covid 19
