Guest Services Agent
Quality Hotel & Suites

Objective:

To have a complete understanding of the Front Desk operation ensuring the best service to all guest.

Responsibilities:

• Check guests in and out of Hotel by following proper settlement procedures
• Record all guest reservations including group bookings and rooming lists and monitor room inventory on a daily basis.
• Fully understand the front desk computer system and how all transactions are posted
• Answer the switchboard and all other related phone duties in a polite and professional manner
• Handle cash and complete daily end of shift
• Be familiar with all Hotel programs and be able to explain and market them to guests either in person or over the telephone
• Know all room rates for different room types in order to maximize revenue
• Answer all guest inquires/complaints concerning the Hotel in a polite and tactful manner.
• Direct all guest complaints and concerns to the appropriate departments and/or communicate with all related departments regarding guest concerns
• Reports all comments, regardless of nature, to management
• Treat all guests in a courteous and friendly manner
• This position could require part time Night Audit Shifts
• All other duties as required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Customer service experience a must
• Hospitality experience preferred
• Flexible and energetic with the ability to work under pressure
• Computer experience
• Ability to prioritize with strong data entry, analytical and communication skills

• customer service: 1 year (preferred)
