Position: Security Guard

City: Etobicoke Lakeshore

Job Type: Full time

Hours: All Shifts Days, Afternoon, Nights, Swing, Weekends (MUST BE ABLE TO WORK ALL SHIFTS 24/7)

Pay Rate: $15.50 (Pay rate based on experience and successful completion of a 3-month probationary period)

Duties:

• Completion of daily report and incident Reports in a timely manner.
• Working at various sites such as colleges, office towers, malls and etc.
• Observing, investigating, and acting on possible breaches of security, fire and safety hazards, illegal entry, theft and malfunction or interruption of utilities through the radio, phone, and computer systems. respond to emergencies in a quick and efficient manner.
• Conducting security patrols on premises (internal / external), Must be ok to stand and walk for long period.
• Ability to monitor CCTV – prior experience will be an asset.

Qualifications:

• Valid Security Guard license
• 1 year security experience is preferred
• Excellent verbal/written communication skills
• Excellent Customer Service skills
• Demonstrated initiative and success through past assignments and duties.
• Strong team player, ability to achieve superior customer service for the client and business units.
• Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• General knowledge about Health and Safety practices.
• Ability to analyze and interpret the needs of clients and offer the appropriate options, solutions, and resolutions required.
• Conflict Resolution and Diffusion skills.
