For all you Night Hawks, Arch Staffing has an exciting full-time opportunity for Machine Operators to join our Client's growing operation located in Summerstown, ON, just a short 10 minutes outside of Cornwall. We are looking for individuals to help with the production line, increse your industrial knowledge and growth within the organization.

This permanent role offers 2 shifts;

Monday thru Friday days from 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Sunday thru Thursday evenings 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM (shift differential applies)

What a typical day may look like for you: Pack finished products in boxes as per the docket, pack boxes and get ready for shipping

• Maintain daily and QC documentation
• Prepare samples for checks and QC checks
• Advise if product has any deficiencies
• Threading and starting machine when needed
• Complete production sheet and quantity produced at the end of each night
• Keep machine running while minimizing scrap
• Perform maintenance on the machine

What you will require to be successful in this role:

• High school or GED equivalent
• Less than 6 months direct experience in this role
• Strong math skills
• Mechanical aptitude
• Basic troubleshooting skills
• Understanding of production measurement tools
• Work in an extremely fast-paced environment
• Ability to lift heavy items
• Ability to work in hot conditions in the summer
• Detail record keeping
• Strong communication skills
• Must be compliant with all aspects of GMP, food safety and quality initiatives
• Hot temperatures during summer months
• Repetitive work
• Very noisy environment - PPE is mandatory
• MUST have valid drivers license and vehicle - no transit
