GENERAL BUILDING MAINTENANCE PERSON Job at Buchner Manufacturing
The General Maintenance Person is responsible for performing minor interior renovations and repairs and maintenance of building and equipment in an industrial and warehouse environment. We have an immediate opening for this position for the right candidate at our production facility located in Pefferlaw, Ontario.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- General contractor background
- Experience using power tools
- Mechanically inclined
- Strong organizational skills
- Flexible - able to adapt to changes well
- Willingness to work to meet deadlines
- Must be able to work well in a team environment
- Effective communicator with co-workers and all levels of management
Physical Demands:
- Standing for long periods of time
- Walking
- Stair / ladder climbing
- Bending, twisting, wrist flexing in awkward positions
- Lifting up to 22 kgs
- Hand-eye coordination
- Working near loud noise levels on occasion
Hours of Work:
Day Shift:6:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Monday - Friday
Saturdays and overtime as required
