GFL Environmental is looking for a full time General Labour to help with our operations in Windsor, Ontario.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with labour activities such as prepare job site; carry and set-up pumps and fences; sweeping; remove debris; loading and unloading of materials.
Potential to operate small equipment.
Take direction from Foreman.
Provide safe, prompt and efficient support to assigned projects.
Ensure that all activities are carried out with due regard to personal safety, the safety of others, and in line with Company policies and procedures.
Knowledge, Skills, Competencies:
Experience in a wide variety of physical labour.
Ability to complete strenuous and repetitive tasks.
Ability to follow both written and oral instructions.
A valid class G drivers’ license and clean abstract.
Be able and willing to work nights and out of town.
Awareness of safety guidelines on construction sites.
