We are recruiting Health Care Aides for a long-term facility.
Location: Selkirk (Manitoba)
Day Shift, Evening Shift
Responsibilities:
Health Care Aide play a vital role in our health care system where they work closely with our clients providing personal care. Duties include:
- Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living (bathing, toileting, skincare, light meal preparation, feeding etc) in personal residences or facilities
- Perform assigned tasks according to the Care Plan
Experience:
At least one year of Health Care Aide experience, however, new graduates are welcome!
Qualifications:
- Valid Health Care Aide Certificate; LN/LPN Student who with a minimum successful completion of year one of the program; Internationally licensed Nurse, Midwife or Physician
- Physical ability to meet the demands of the job
- Valid Standard First Aid and Level C CPR
- Updated immunization record including TB Test (last 6 months)
- Proficient verbal and written English communication skills (Additional language skills considered an asset)
- Valid Police Check

Salary: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
