Lactalis is the #1 dairy producer in the world and produces products such as cheese, milk, yogurt and butter. Our Belleville manufacturing facility, responsible for packaging and processing cheese, is recruiting and currently looking to fill an Electrical Technologist - Day Shift.

Role Overview

• Responsible for prioritizing, maintaining, installing, trouble-shooting and repairing production and facility related equipment and systems.
• Assist with the set up of production lines, respond to line calls and carry out required preventive maintenance activities.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed Industrial Electrician with a provincial or inter-provincial trade certification
• Industrial manufacturing experience with high speed production and packaging equipment
• Background in PLC programing and troubleshooting an asset
• Computer skills, including basic maintenance management software (SAP)
• Demonstrated advanced troubleshooting and problem solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven initiative and detail oriented
