Junior Research Lawyer Job at Gardiner Roberts
- Desire to specialize in conducting comprehensive legal research, writing memos, and drafting materials.
- Overseeing the firm’s library and ensuring everything is current and up to date.
- Preparing background materials for other firm related marketing efforts that have a legal audience Candidates will also be exposed to general corporate and commercial transaction and other matters, in order to obtain a solid grounding in corporate law and transaction work.
- Developing a precedent bank of legal memos, facta and other firm precedents.
- Supporting the firm’s in-house Education and Training Committee and assisting in thedevelopment and presentation of in-house seminar programs.
Qualifications
- Ability to conduct legal research and analyze statutes and caselaw
- Meticulous quality of work and detail oriented
- Excellent oral and written communication skills as well as excellent interpersonal skills
- Able to work well under pressure in a busy team environment
