Peace River Transport Limited Partnership is seeking Class 1 drivers with Air brakes endorsement with 2 or more years of experience. Experience with log hauling preferred. You will be working at our Partner Site, Mercer Peace River Pulp in Peace River.

These are permanent positions on a 5 day on 2 off shift, working on a day and night shift rotation. We are currently looking for candidates local to Peace River and area or candidates willing to relocate only at this time.

What you’ll be doing:

Hauling logs and materials safely between different sites

• “Road to Zero ‘ means that all safety procedures are followed while employed
• ELD equipped trucks will be used for hours of service, safety monitoring, and bonus incentives
• Check vehicles to ensure that mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in good working order, report to if any issues are found
• Report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage to the vehicles
• Operating brand new equipment (trucks and trailers)

We would love to hear from you if you have:

• Class 1 Driver's License
• 2 or more years driving experience preferably with log hauling
• Clean 5 yr Drivers Abstract

• A desire to show continuous improvement through employee engagement
• Possible opportunities for Lease Operators with the right qualifications
