We are looking for a licensed and experienced Millwright to add value to our Maintenance Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preventative maintenance and repair on all mechanical equipment. As a Millwright you will ensure the upkeep and maintenance of all areas in the facility.

Key Roles and Responsibilities will include:

• Troubleshoot and diagnose hydraulic and pneumatic problems with associated equipment
• Adjusting machinery and repairing or replacing defective parts
• Preventative and predictive maintenance of all equipment
• Assembles/aligns gears, bearings and shafts, involving press, sliding and running fits, aligns pumps, motors, turbines and gear reducers
• Heavy duty machinery maintenance/rebuild
• Troubleshoot and diagnose potential mechanical problems and breakdowns
• Other tasks as required that align with typical Millwright duties

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid 433A - Industrial Mechanic Millwright License
• Experience in a unionized manufacturing environment will be considered an asset
• Experience with injection and mold machining an asset
• Must be able to read and interpret blueprints
• Superior hydraulic and pneumatic troubleshooting skills
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, decision making and problem solving attributes
• Demonstrated hands on technical skills with respect to mechanical assembly, machine repair, electrical systems, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, PLC and CNC based control and logic systems
• Working knowledge of safety standards of equipment
• Ability to work efficiently as a part of a team, as well as independently
