***The primary function of a Mall Security Officer is to provide the highest level of security and customer service possible. Their most important goal is to keep the property, its tenants, visitors, and employees safe and free from harm.**

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• A valid BC Security Worker’s License is required;
• Must Have valid OFA certification or willing to obtain
  
• Previous Retail Security is preferred
• Observe, record, and report activities and security incidents while on shift;
• Proficient in the English language (verbal & written)
• A calm demeanor and sound decision-making skills;
• Able to do foot patrol and stand for long periods of time
• Able to complete high-quality reports
• Top-notch customer service, with previous experience, considered a strong asset
• Professional approach to role; acting in a disciplined, honest and ethical manner
• Comfortable working alone or with a diverse team
• Must be able to follow procedure and set routines effectively
• Strong observation and communication skills
• Flexible availability Morning ,afternoon and evenings Must be available weekends )
  
• Must be physically fit with the ability to stand and walk patrols, climb stairs, etc
