To help us continue to scale our Sales function, we are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to lead a team of North American BDRs. In this role you will lead a team of BDRs focused on prospecting potential Perpetua customers and building our brand. You are a process driven and empathetic leader with experience building and leading a successful KPI driven team.

What You'll Do:

    • Manage and develop a team of high performing BDRs, provide coaching and enablement for the team to identify, contact, and create qualified opportunities
    • Work closely with Sales Leadership team to improve opportunity management and qualification processes
    • Liaise with Sales Leads to ensure quality leads are being passed over and opportunities are being converted
    • Accurately forecasts weekly, monthly, quarterly attainment for the team
    • Strong contribution to the career development architecture of the Perpetua sales team.
    • Be an expert on which product capabilities and customer stories apply to the market, you are have no problem understanding and explaining how brands can grow their sales on eCommerce marketplaces using Perpetua’s product
    • Ensure Perpetua’s North American BDR team improves performance and abilities over time by providing coaching and feedback in recurring 1:1s
    • Some travel is expected to represent Perpetua with client partners, with third parties, at industry events, etc.

Who You Are:

    • You have experience in a BDR role with 1-2 years of experience leading and growing a BDR team in a hands-on management/player-coach capacity.
    • Track record of achieving lead generation quotas within a high growth SaaS company
    • Hands-on experience with multiple prospecting techniques and channels.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills, you can easily present data, ideas and progress to internal stakeholders
    • Experience working in Salesforce, Outreach, Chorus, LinkedIn Navigator, and ZoomInfo
    • An equally balanced entrepreneurial and operational balanced mindset - you love getting into the weeds but don't lose focus on executing against your strategic operational priorities.
    • You have proven leadership skills and have built and managed a team

The Interview Process:
Every role starts the same, an introductory call with someone from Perpetua. We will be looking for company and values-fit as well as your professional experience; there may be some technical role-specific questions during this call.

Every role is different after the initial call, but you can expect to meet several people from the team 1:1 and there might be further skill assessments in the form of a Take Home Assignment/Case Study Presentation or Pair Programming/Live Coding exercise depending on the role. In your initial call, we will walk you through exactly what to expect the process to be.
