We are seeking a highly resourceful, independent, performance-oriented, and high-energy Communications and Marketing Specialist in Canada to help strategically grow our business in various regions through partner and customer acquisition.
- Develop, implement, and track marketing programs such as email, social media, or digital campaigns, and events
- Develop consumer and B2B marketing strategy and plans with clearly articulated KPIs, prioritizing execution against the most impactful tactics
- Design and execute tests to identify insights that will help our business achieve maximum ROI across all marketing channels (SEM, other performance digital, SEO, Email, Content, Partnerships, etc.)
- Own end-to-end marketing plan execution (including but not limited to email marketing, content & social, and website creation and updates), and drive collaboration across cross-functional teams to meet or exceed results.
- Collaborate with other internal teams (e.g., product and sales) to develop and monitor strategic marketing initiatives
- Evaluate the ROI of new and existing strategies and update industry and competitive analyses to inform management of sales positioning
- Analyze and report on the performance and efficiency of campaigns
- Conduct market research and analyze trends to identify new marketing opportunities
- Develop and create marketing materials, such as sales and product collateral while ensuring brand guidelines are met
- Write, proofread, and edit creative and technical content across different mediums
- Work with external agencies and vendors to execute marketing programs
- Plan and execute initiatives to reach the target audience through appropriate channels (social media, e-mail, TV etc.)
- Handle public relations, information output, press releases and media requests
- Assist in analyzing marketing data (campaign results, conversion rates, traffic etc.) to help shape future marketing strategies.
- Building out custom digital marketing campaigns (a mixture of pay per click campaigns, Google AdWords, search engine optimization, link & citation building, Google Analytics dashboard development & website analytics)
- Effectively collaborating with team members to plan, design, execute and maintain all internal and external online communications, such as e-newsletters, email, white papers, blog posts, advertising campaigns, website strategy and social media
- Measuring and reporting performance of all digital campaigns, and assessing goals (ROI and KPI's)
- Planning, executing and measuring experiments and conversion tests
- Utilizing strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touchpoints
- Evaluating emerging technologies. Provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate
- Maintaining our digital marketing assets
- Monitor results, making recommendations for improvements to increase engagement
- Lead and ensure consistency in messaging, branding, content, and look-and-feel of all communications and marketing materials - coordinating with content, creative, sales and broader organization
- Proactively share progress, insights, results and identify roadblocks to ensure timely discussion and resolution
