Position Title: Medically Supported Detox Manager
Reports to: The Executive Director
Key role: To work collaboratively within the extraordinary 8 person lateral Leadership Team at Safe Harbour. This team is using the skills, sensitivity, and personal confidence necessary to tap into the power that each member of the team brings to the organization’s vision and mission. While efficient and effective systems are required to move the organization forward, it is also critical that the team retain the creative spark that drives the Safe Harbour concept. With the 7 Stars We Steer By as a guide, the Safe Harbour Leadership Team ensures a diverse expertise to strategic decision making, ensuring compliance, and strengthening the internal capacity of a well-respected, high impact organization.
Leadership Duties:
- Model the Safe Harbour mission of welcome and connection
- Sustain the Safe Harbour culture through 7 Star Leadership
- Be transparent
- Be an enthusiastic change agent
- Ensure your Harbour crew is well taken care of. Abide by all employment standards and ensure staff record keeping is in accordance with Safe Harbour policy
- Coach teams through the 7 Stars as they hit choppy waters, coach them to their sea legs
- Promote engagement, commitment, and motivation of crew by developing/implementing strategies to improve productivity, morale, and culture.
- Use the ethical decision-making model to ensure transparency and fair play
- Provide leadership and strategic direction to all patient and guest services.
- Ensure compliance to contract reporting obligations, licensing standards, health practices, accounting principles, regulatory bodies, and Safe Harbour policy
- Advocate for clients using a harm reduction lens
- Strive for continuous improvement as Safe Harbour maintains accreditation standards
- Connect with relevant community stakeholders to further the Safe Harbour mission, goals, and objectives

Key Responsibilities
- Leading Healthcare provision within a multi-disciplinary team of doctors, nurses, case managers and students.
- Overall oversight for documentation, protocols, processes to providing a provision of client care.
- Total oversight of all medication supplies, storage, security, and administration.
- Maintain integrity of all program technology including but not limited to Netcare.
- Lead appropriate clinical practice knowledge within your team and the organization including research initiation and participation creating an environment of evidence informed practice.

Salary: $45.00-$48.00 per hour
