Computershare has an exciting opportunity for a permanent full-time .NET Developer to join our Computershare Technology Services (CTS) team. This role can be 100% remote from anywhere in Quebec or hybrid (part time in office, part time remote) from our Montreal office – whichever works best for you!

A role you will love
The .NET Developer will be a part of a team of experienced developers and be primarily focused on developing and supporting the systems which ensure our business meets the needs of our clients, both internally and externally. In this role, you’ll need to meet tight deadlines so the ability to work under pressure is key! You’ll be a part of a supportive and helpful team who freely collaborate with one another therefore, being a team player is of utmost importance. Also, we love to find new and better ways of doing things, so we’ll encourage you to think outside the box and bring fresh ideas to the forefront!
Other key responsibilities include:
- Developing and maintaining software and databases using the appropriate languages
- Performing technical analysis and design work as outlined by senior team members
- Performing unit testing on code and assisting with system and UAT
- Investigating technical issues and using the help of experienced team members
- Assisting in the preparation of documentation for new or changed business, operational, or support procedures
- Recording and updating assigned tasks using the work tracking tool and providing status reports on outstanding issues
- Maintaining database schema updates and stored procedure development in conjunction with development DBAs
- Installing software in development and test environments
What will you bring to the role?
- 2+ years of experience in software development, which includes exposure to the following technologies: Microsoft Windows, Windows Server, ASP.NET, .Net Core, C#, Visual Basic, Visual Studio, Team Foundation Server, SQL Server, T-SQL, SQL Server Reporting Services and Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of object-oriented design and development
- Availability to work flexible hours when required
Bonus points if you have:
- Familiarity with the securities, banking or insurance industries
- Completion of a college or university degree in an IT related field
