HCA 160: Healing 2: Lifestyle and Choices

• Employment Type: Online
• Schedule: July 18- July 26 (30 hours)

HCA 110: Health Care Assistant: Introduction to Practice

• Employment Type: Online
• Schedule: July 31- Aug 9 (30 hours)

HCA 120: Health and Healing: Concepts for Practice

• Employment Type: Online
• Schedule: August 14 - September 6 (70 hours)

HCA 130: Healing 1: Caring for Individuals Experiencing Common Health Challenges

HCA 170: Healing 2: Caring for Individuals Experiencing Cognitive or Mental Challenges

• Employment Type: Online
• Schedule: October 24- November 20 (60 hours)
• Monday, Tuesday, Wednesdays from 8:00am-3:00 OR 4:00pm

Requirements:

• Must have a minimum of three years nursing experience
• A valid Registered Nurse (RN or LPN) license and be in good standing with BCCNM
• Must be a registered nurse in British Columbia
• Prior teaching experience is an asset

There is a full curriculum for each course and a thorough orientation would take place prior to stepping into the classroom or lab environments. Prior teaching experience is an asset.

Job Types: Part-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 - 25 days
Part-time hours: 10-115 per week

Salary: From $32.00 per hour

Experience:

• Nursing: 3 years (required)
• Teaching: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) (required)

Work Location: Remote

Expected start date: 2023-06-05
