Responsibilities:

• Work under the leadership of the Project Manager
• Assigns tasks and is responsible for monitoring the progress of a project: planning, organizing materials and labour at site level
• Uphold responsibilities of the position according to the Ontario Health and Safety Act
• Responsible for all site administrative documentation including time tracking of a crew, safety, tool/asset documentation.
• Communicates closely with the Project Manager to ensure that all schedules and budgets are met
• Ensure workers are knowledgeable about their roles and make assignments according to skill sets
• Involved and supportive of any day to day disciplinary decisions
• Perform other duties as they may be needed

Qualifications:

• 306A Plumber Certification
• High work ethic and dedication to the company
• Mechanical aptitude and strong knowledge of plumbing code
• Read and comprehend blueprints, with the ability to visualize a finished product
• Leadership and strong communication skills
• Problem-solving, conflict-resolution, critical thinking skills and detail oriented
• Strong/efficient organizational skills, delegation of labour hours
• Technologically literate
• A valid class G driver’s license
