The Company:
Founded in 2010, LilYPad provides a web-based point of sale software for family entertainment centers, like trampoline parks, indoor playground, etc. It is a rich Point of Sale system with features including sales processing, event management, customer and membership management, online booking, electronic ticketing, and employee management.
The company is headquartered in London, Ontario and is owned by Jonas, a 100% owned subsidiary of Constellation Software Inc, headquartered in Toronto and traded on the Toronto Stock Exchange (CSU.TO).
Position:
The President will develop / manage a strategic plan to advance the company's mission and objectives, and will have full Profit & Loss (P&L) responsibility to drive revenue growth and profitability. You will ensure that Company goals are met in a timely fashion by effectively managing personnel and resources, working closely with a knowledgeable team. The position requires strong organizational, interpersonal and leadership skills.
Job Responsibilities:
- The financial and resource planning for all aspects of LilYPad (full P&L responsibility of the revenues and operating expenses of the business) - ensuring the business is financially sound, well managed, and achieves key targets
- Plan, develop, and implement strategies for generating rational revenue growth for the company
- Coach and develop employees at LilYPad to help drive company performance and grow their careers
- Serve as steward of company environment and culture ensuring that LilYPad is a welcoming, collaborative, open and safe workplace that successfully attracts and retains human talent
- Oversee company operations to insure production efficiency, quality, service, and cost-effective management of resources
- Lead and participate in weekly reporting, monthly financial reporting, and Quarterly Strategic Review (QSR) activities and presentations
- Promote the company at conferences, trade shows, vendor meetings, industry events and at internal Jonas events
Job Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years’ management experience
- Experience managing and driving an effective sales team / sales engine considered an asset
- Experience with the Payment Processing industry considered an asset
- Experience with software, particularly Point of Sale software, considered an asset
- Experience with software development / technical understanding considered an asset
- Experience managing a Profit & Loss considered an asset
- Proven leader and builder of exceptional effective teams
- Proven strategic thinker and problem solver with the ability to drive through to results and challenge the norms
- Logical and analytical, with a methodical approach to problem-solving
- Ability to motivate teams and simultaneously manage the business
- Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, sales or marketing
