Product Communications Manager - Remote Job at Dropbox
Role Description We re looking for a product and technology communications pro with sharp attention to detail, strong writing and communication skills, and a natural storytelling ability to join our product communications team.
You ll play a key role designing and executing programs that drive awareness for the company s products and more.
You ll be a critical partner that works closely with marketing, product, social, and engineering teams to craft compelling stories, campaigns, and plans about Dropbox and execute on strategies that will bring these to life.
Responsibilities Build and execute communications strategies and product launches for Dropbox Collaborate cross-functionally to identify key audiences, metrics, and story concepts to drive news coverage for Dropbox Partner with engineering, product, and marketing teams to amplify impact of new product features, platform innovation, and other company news Help develop thought leadership content and work with relevant teams to promote that content on the appropriate channels Deepen relationships with media and influencers Partner with external agency to drive results Requirements 5-7 years of communications experience, ideally in both agency and in-house tech company settings Ability to demonstrate strong writing and creative storytelling skill a must Experience with and passion for growing and promoting tech brands with a deep understanding of the tech industry landscape Analytical problem-solver and strategic thinker with exceptional written and oral communications skills Strong media and industry network; experience working with tech industry media Team player with a demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with product, engineering, and marketing teams Experience with security, developer, and platform technology communications a plus
