Position: Project Engineer
Location: Calgary, AB

We are currently seeking a Project Engineer to join our team in Calgary. This position will support the regional development and deployment of our innovative cleantech equipment throughout North America.

Under the direction of the Project Management Office (PMO), this role will work closely with Business Development and Operations.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting the PMO in regional development and in the design/engineering of commercial assets.
• Assist with the gathering of technical data on projects and preparing reports to summarize project details, such as estimating methane emission at customer locations using government protocols, industries studies and best practices.
• Performance and selection of inhouse methane mitigation solutions, nitrogen regional storage and nitrogen distribution equipment.
• Review and analyze technical data to prepare project proposals and recommendations while acting as customer technical contact throughout project execution.
• Develop, implement, and maintain project timelines to ensure deadlines are met.
• Work closely with our software developer to enhance our telemetry and SCADA offering.
• Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate product improvements and cost reductions.
• Engineering liaison between internal and external project stakeholders, incl. ABSA and Technical Safety BC
• Maintain customer and vendor relationships and participate in projects meetings, as required.
• Providing support to business development and operations
• Research and development of instrument gas flow and advanced cryogenic fluid measurement
• Design and engineering of first-of-its-kind distribution equipment
• Understanding of industry guidelines, Codes and Standards

Qualifications

Your Capabilities and Credentials:

• Solid experience with MS Project, Visio, MS Office including Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail, and resourcefulness.
• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities and assignments.
• Must have good interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to successfully work both collaboratively and independently.

Education & Experience:

• Engineering Degree, Engineering Technologist, or diploma in related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience.
• Prior experience in well-site design and/or industrial gas production and distribution, considered a strong asset.
