Description:

• Reporting to the Quality assurance manager, the candidate will be conducting several quality assurance tasks including but not limited to
• internal audits in the dairy facility
• Chemical (pH, fat, salt, protein, moisture & solids content), microbiological and organoleptic (sensory) analysis on ingredients and finish product
• good manufacturing practice training of employees
• assist with the maintenance of documents and records
• assist in the maintenance of different QA programs (Identity preserved, supplier approval)
• help in certification audits process
• implement Good manufacturing practices (GMPs) in production

Requirements:

- Language: English, and French is an asset(Not mandatory).

- Postsecondary Education in Food sciences, microbiology or related field

- Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)

- Excellent analytical skills, paying attention to detail

- Solid problem-solving skills

- Multitasking & Priority Management skills

- Effective communication skills, ability to interact pleasantly with staff at all levels

- Knowledge of HACCP and SQF are an asset

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Night shift
• No weekends
• Overtime

• Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
